The Heureum is a 100w, Point-to-point hand-wired late 60’s Super Lead inspired amplifier with a few tricks up it’s sleeve. This amplifier was born out of J,K’s want and need for the ultimate no-frills tone machine. His obsession for tones from VHI→5150, Nuno Bettencourt, & the 80’s hard rock modded Marshall tones drove this design.

No expenses spared, no corners cut, all premium components from incredible manufacturers. Quality> Low cost for this amplifier is what J,K. went for.
Custom Mercury Magnetics Transformers are the heart & soul of the amplifier.
With a 460v B+ Power TX, and a custom wound, custom impedance Output Transformer, & 3H Choke, the Heureum has an authority & honesty to the tone.
It can easily nail early VHI→ VHII tones, all the way through to 1984, Diver Down & 5150, with no boosts or EQ shaping in post.
The custom Output TX contributes to a percussive & tighter/more articulate low end response than a stock SLP. (influence from Nuno Bettencourt).

The circuit has been refined and honed in to what J.K. likes and needs as a player, with refinements using many years of touring, recording, and more.

J.K. Brings his experience voicing & Building Amplifiers for many industry greats.
But, this amplifier design was born out of J.K’s experience building, and voicing Joe Satriani’s DRGN 100 Rig for the “Best of All Worlds” tour, meant to nail Van Halen’s 1986’s Live without a net tone.
