Services: amplifier/Pedal

Full-service amplifier/stompbox repair: diagnosis, repair, modification, improve. Using mil-spec components and industry professional level of repair. One year workmanship warranty included! **All repairs will be assessed a one hour ($100.00) bench fee which covers any diagnosis work. Customer will be contacted with updated estimate after this diagnosis is complete- bench fee must be paid at time of drop-off)- bench fee covers first hour of labor

  • $100 Flat Fee, Parts , Tax, Shipping extra

    -Check Amplifier Bias & re-calibrate

    -Full chassis cleaning

    • Tube Sockets

    • Potentiometers

    • Jacks, Switches

    • Re-flow suspect solder joints

    -Wire Dress & assess any further repairs

  • $300.00 + Parts, Tax, Shipping

    Includes all BASIC services & adds:

    -Full Re-Cap of all Electrolytic Capacitors. Can choose to upgrade capacitors to Jupiter Condenser, or NOS

    -Replace Screen Resistors w/ Mil-Spec Flame Proof Variants

    -Re-Tube & Bias adjustment

  • Labor assessed @ $100/hr. Estimate required & sit down with J.K. to assess costs and approve work before work is done. J.K. can handle most requests, some, but not all work that can be done is listed below:

    -Transformer Replacements

    -Re-Wire tube sockets

    -Modify circuits, upgrade critical components

    -Master volume installs

    -Re-Build amplifier circuits

    -Re-Pro Turret board builds, restorations, etc.

  • $125 + Tubes, Parts, Tax, Shipping.

    -Screen Grid Resistors Replaced w/ Ohmite Mil-spec, or Dale Mil-Spec Wirewound flame-proof variants

  • Pedal Repair: $75+ Parts

    Includes full Fret level, crown & polish + All services in basic setup

    Full- Tear down of entire instrument, rebuild w/

    • Boutique Tone Caps, Hand-wired harness, Pickup replacements (if wanted), CTS or Bourns Pots

    • New Bone Nut (if needed)

    • Shielded cavities

    • Setup w/ Basic electronics repair or pickup/switch replacement: $125+ Parts

    • Setup w. Custom Wiring diagram: $175+ Parts

    • Custom bone nut Replacement: $100+ Parts

Work Begins…

After J.K. assesses what will be needed after the initial work has begun and the scope of the work & repairs needed. J.K. will contact you to discuss findings & have the full scope approved or denied.

Work finalized & burned in.

Every instrument or amplifier that comes into the shop will be finalized, documented & itemized for the final invoice. Each instrument or amplifier is rigorously play tested and goes through a “burn in” process that makes sure it will last the test of time!

Customer Pickup:

J.K. will call customer, & send a final invoice to either be paid at time of pickup, or before pickup. Customer will verify & play test gear at J.K. Electric headquarters + sign the final invoice as proof that gear was serviced & Picked up. 1 Year Workmanship warranty paperwork will be ready at this time.
